The best suburbs with nice housing are situated on the southern side of the river Loire, but the distances are short, less than 5 km. Easy access to the towncentre and railways station. The nicest suburbian town is Olivet, a very romantic place with rivers, Watermills and small castles.
Going to Paris by train takes about 1 hour. It is very easy to visit museums and exhibitions in Paris, Blois, Bourges and Tours.
