Lived here since 2001. Came from Los Angeles. Pollution, overcrowding, traffic and cost are much less here but are increasing because growth re-started in 2017. Weather is often over 100 degrees in summer, dry but very hot. Winters are mild but you do have cold days Dec through January. Fall and Spring are beautiful. Lots to do, but must control gambling and try to stay off strip. Skiing 45 min away in winter. Lake Mead about 30 minutes away. Utah and Arizona are close. My 2900 sq ft house with pool, spa and 3 car garage just outside Summerlin is worth $ 550,000. Food and gas expense much less than LA. Only major league hockey here.
