Being a Muslim, I grew up in a slum in Hubballi. Most Muslims are ill-treated by the Hindus at Hubballi and we Muslims are made to live in slums. There are plenty of ghettos throughout Hubballi-Dharwad. Charan Singh is very correct with his points. Majority of the people in Hubballi-Dharwad don't have any manners and they have nil civic sense. Chain-snatching incidents are very common at Hubballi.
I am speaking the truth. Hubballi-Dharwad is paradise for hooligans.

Hubballi-Dharwad has plenty of violent crime such as murders, rape and torture, burglary and chain snatching. I am from Chandigarh and I have lost my belongings several times at Hubballi. The people had shattered the glass of my car during my stay in Hubballi. As Anonymous rightly said, Hindus are happy that most Muslims at Hubballi have poverty and are living in slums. All the politicians from Hubballi-Dharwad are hooligans and they have criminal links.

Yeah I totally agree with the comments of @Rakesh. One example is regarding the Government hospitals. All the Government hospitals are the worst throughout the state of Karnataka. Government hospitals facilities are horrible. Government never cares about patients and there is plenty of bureaucracy among the Government healthcare workers.

I am a resident of Hubli. I am very honest, so here are my thoughts. There is serious problem in this town regarding the mentality of the local people. In Hubli, people are completely dependent on the government for their entire livelihood including education and jobs. But sadly the entire state and Central governments are run by Hindutva militants. People still haven't realized these things and it is a sad truth about Hubli.
People here are afraid to report things to media, police and doctors.
