You are absolutely right Jan! However the factors that make up the quality of life in this survey , have nothing to do with whether a city is fun, interesting or beautiful. It’s mostly factors that older people use to decide on place of living. Take a look at the other cities that are on top of the list....
Having said that, Eindhoven offers an ambundance of opportunities work - wise, and is a very expat friendly place.

Hahaha Jan, when did you visit Eindhoven last? Times are changing which might be hard for you. Eindhoven is a city of the future. You will hear much more from us.

Hi Jan, I'm sorry Amsterdam didn't end high enough for you. Me and all foreign friends that have visited love the city. It's big but small. Very international and green.

I can't possibly understand how you can declare Eindhoven the second city in the world with the best quality of life.
It is one of the dullest cities in the world I have ever visited. Apart from the in the obligate loft style refurbished old buildings of the PHILIPS multinational, it has absolutely nothing worth seeing as the city was thoroughly bombed during the second world war and rebuild in the most desolate architectural style.
It is a very extended city with no high rises which means that to go from one side of the city to the other you need a car.
