My first property in Paphos was for a 2 bed semi-detached with a bathroom and open-plan kitchen and lounge leading to the garden terrace. It was in 1984 and cost me £ 16 thousand CYPRIOT POUNDS. This was before the change to Euros. My English Wife went on holiday there when I was working in Dubai, which was common practise for Expats in the Summer heat. She decided to move in with the owner of a local Coffee shop and take our 4-year-old Son with her. After years of travelling backwards and forwards, I sold the property. Today at 77 years of age I am now looking for a property to spend the rest of my life in, I have remarried to an Arabic Speaker and I am much happier than before
