i live in winnipeg if i were younger i would move to russia to retire any harge city 200,000 better life style and better leader better politics more fredom than what we have

In San Francisco 1 bedroom apartment includes combined kitchen , dining and living room in one, and a separate room as a bedroom in a high rise building that isn't even close to new apartments in Moscow. Very simple but come with all appliances. But the rent is really high : 1 bed/1 bathroom with dining/living/kitchen as 1 room rents for $2,800. With 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom/with dining/living/kitchen as 1 room rents for $3,800. There are 2 major apartment complexes - Park Merced Apartments and Stonestown Apartments. Most of the buildings are built as condominiums, and you have to pay very high price for it. For example condominium 2 bedroom/2bathroom and with dining/living/kitchen as 1 room sells for $1.5 mil - $2 mil. Plus you have to pay HOA ( Home Owners Associate maintenance fee monthly $500-$700, that covers water, sewer,garbage, recycling. Additionally there is a property tax 2% of the condo ( or house) value. For $2 mil you have to pay $20,000 per year. Utilities and phone insurance paid separately. If there's a need to repair garage door or roof usually owners pay for it, or raise HOA to cover the cpsts. There are 1 parking place inside the building for each condo unit, and 1 parking space in front. Single family 3 bedroom/2 bathroom and with dining/living/kitchen as 1 room sells for $2.5 - 5 million.

As well, what is called "one/two/three/etc bedroom" apartment in the States, say, does not correctly describe the apartments in Moscow (and Russia in general) to which the prices shown above could be applied. In the States "one bedroom" means an apartment with one bedroom, one living room and a kitchen. This is called "two rooms apartment" in Russia. Russians count not bedrooms but general number of rooms independently of their use. Consecutively, what is called above "one bedroom" (priced from 50 000 rubles to 100 000 rubles in Moscow Center), in reality is one room and a kitchen. "Two bedroom", correspondingly, is just two rooms and a kitchen, and, as already said above, in the States such apartment would be called "one bedroom". And so on.

"Price per Square Meter to Buy Apartment in City Centre 448,705.24 руб" - this price looks to be exaggerated. One can find very expensive apartments, but there are apartments inside the Garden Ring (which is a Moscow center informal border)at about 300 - 330 000 rubles es per sq meter. In is easy to see at CIAN site - the most popular site for real estate in Moscow. www.cian.ru
