Homelessness is rising in Columbus. Homelessness living in the forests to avoid crammed poorly run homeless shelters with too many rules and maltreatment. Shelters also full and if a homeless epidemic takes hold like California; Columbus, Ohio would stand no chance due to being quickly overwhelmed. 70% to 80% of The city is decaying rapidly into poverty, livable wages of $28.84/Hour and up for most residents non existent and labor participation plummeting due to extreme business greed and labor exploration, no adequate benefits, no longterm stability, no adequate training, rampant racism against black community and poor residents. ALL neighboring cities 2 hours around Columbus moving to Colimvus putting immense strain on resources, wages, opportunities cities and housing.

Most Columbus residents are making less than $15/Hour or less than $2,000/Month YET rent prices for a clean renovated crammed studio is around $700 and up! 1 bedroom apartments which have a living room are over $850/Month. By the time you pay off all your basic expenses, there is no money left if you have medical expenses! Columbus also has a (red zone chronic problem ) when it comes to housing shortage for 1 bedroom apartments under $500 desparately needed! Most Americans are single and need private 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartments OR privately owned land + home under $50,000. Even tiny homes are not affordable to most Americans at this point. Land prices outside of residential on ogio is on average $4,000/Acre or more; which is absurd. Most farmland near cities runs in the millions. HOAs are communism and lack of freedom of choice when doing things with thier own property. Columbus is no longer ger affordable for 80% of residents!
