If the pollution is not controlled then Vizag would be the next Delhi to beat the Pollution.
#Anonymous on Dec 03, 2017 :
The most polluted Zone, where you can even find fines of carbon and Iron ore is in One town area until Dabagardens this is due to Vizag Port. Despite of several complaints and cases booked, until now no solution is done.

Very intense toxic gases being released by the industries located in and around the Vizag city in the evening to late night daily even sometimes from afternoon itself causing breathing and lung problems. The pollution control board seems to be letting the gases release instead of regulating. It raises doubts in the minds of people PCB officials being influenced by bribes receiving from the pollute companies.

yes what people are saying is right, smell of toxic fumes I noticed regularly during nights , more intense during late nights probably released when innocent people sleep . I noticed increase in number of health problems in vsp also due to Radiation pollution from Cell towers in residential areas installed closely on adjacent buildings , probably responsible for various cancers ( lung, breast, intestines ) apart from infertility , thyroid problems , PCOD in addition to miscarriages which are now increased when compared to 2 decades back. Govt likes to make vsp a 'smart city' , but it has become a 'smoke City' with noxious fumes, iron, coal dust in air triggering asthma , long standing inhalation might lead to lung cancer. Once the most beautiful city of ' nature' in India now has become unsuitable health wise. I advice people of Vizag to be careful from cell tower/ mobile phone radiation, get relevant scientific knowledge to protect their children, pregnant women from EMR. now vizagites are suffering from all types pollution : chemical, dust, radiation , the long standing effects are now started visible through various medical complaints which should not be taken lightly. people certainly like Industrial growth , prosperity but not at the cost of public health and safety.
