It's a vibrant community but lacks hygiene and cleanliness in around the residential areas. Sylhet needs tidying up and made to look presentable with roads and pavements improved. Theres much need for parks and green spaces for residents and safe and secure playgrounds for children

The City so far can be considered as a virgin one because there is no industry hence no industrial pollution. The tea garden engulfs the city with utmost beauty. A little more care from the govt can make sylhet the best livable city in Bangladesh. There should be more green parks in residential areas which is missing. The city corporation should ban people from building unplanned buildings here and there. There should be a map and guideline for the landowners to build houses. The footpaths should be built like uttara with open drains and slopes of parking should end within the limitation not disturbing the road and streets margin. Corrupted mayors like Kamran or Misbah Siraz shouldnt be elected ever. They are the main culprits who never loved sylhet rather harmed it. Sylhet is my city and i love it.
