Carbon emission is not being absorbed by natural process/eco system.Lacs and Lacs of age old trees have been cut along NH 1 and other highways in Punjab .I am collecting data under RTI for cut trees/plants. Crores and lacs of amounts has been deposited in Punjab Govt. coffers for compulsory aforestation but unfortunately only insignificant compensatory aforestation against NHI uprooting has been made.

Let us join hands for the cause.
