The health care system in Switerland is excellent.
Numbeo questions regarding the system are not relevant (ist health care national or private?), because the health care is national AND private.
Every citizen and resident of Switzerland is OBLIGED to have a health insurance - it is mandatory.
However, there is no such thing as "national" health insurance - health insurance is delivered by private companies only (you can only choose a company, but they are all private.)

I don't know what the person below me is talking about. My wife and I are full time workers in Germany. We pay 450 EUR each + our employers pay the same. So totally we contributing 1.800 EUR monthly into the system. Yes in Switzerland you pay the full amount yourself, but the purchasing power is higher, which means on average you will have more money available anyway. Also, the full amount is for some reason way smaller in Switzerland than in Germany. A couple pays around 900 CHF, and a couple with 2 children around 1200 CHF. So in any way it is a win for CH.

Healthcare premiums in Switzerland went up, around $400/month $5000/year, and you get only partial coverage.
In most EU countries you pay only $150/month $1800/year, and get full coverage.
