Hi Paula,
Italian public healt care system supplies all its citizens with insulin pumps and equipment for free.
Some other medicines related to the condition are free as well and you have deduction for common check ups and tests. I can tell you about my city Palermo, hospital are not the best (structure and organization) but medical staff, procedures and equipment are far better then Ireland (where i live). The only thing i suggest you it's to double check that as UK citizen you are entitled to benefit of the public health care system once you
take residence.

I am thinking of moving to Italy from the UK.
So can you please tell me anything about the Italian health care system with regards to insulin pumps and supplies of medication and equipment. Including costs and availability.
I would also like to know about the
Overall competence of medical staff
And diabetes department towards its patients.
