In Italy there are 2 different kinds of healthcare: national and private.

With national healthcare the patient is treted as a number/nobody where they will have to wait for endless waiting lists (literally months) also for simple but dated exams such as echography.
With the national healthcare, paid by the taxes of the citizens already, the patient will also have to pay an additional ticket.
The visits/examinations are usually hasty, hurried because doctors have many other patients to visit during the day.
The qpr of this service is very low, in my opinion it's about 3/10.

With private healtcare the patient is followed and listened to way much better.
There are no waiting lists and you can choose the day and the hour you want to attend the exam.
Prices are higher about 3/4 times more than the national one but the qos is incredibly higher.
This private healthcare service, named CUP Libera Professione, is kinda hidden to the population and in order to access it you will have to book the visits to a special number, where professional doctors in their free time offer specialist visits to patients, this is a link to the website: https://www.aopd.veneto.it/sez,3454.
The qpr of this service is decent in my opinion, 7.5/10.

Lastly before coming in Italy you have to know that the north Italy healthcare, like the Padova one, is waaay much better than south Italy one, which very often brings to the death of their patients due to "Malasanita'" which means bad healthcare in Italian caused by poor hygienic conditions in the hospitals. (For this reason south Italian patients come to north Italy hospitals to get their surgery and so on, that's why the waiting lists are crowded)
