My Aunt was born in Limerick in 1937. She turns 80 next month. I am trying to find cost of living expenses for 1937. Can you tell me where I can find general information like:

Cost of any of the following: bread, milk, butter, new car, new home, rent, postage stamp, gallon of gas, average annual income?

Also, what was the best movie or popular show or popular music in 1937.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
