I’m not sure about the honesty of this review since I can easily do 60 questionnaires on my own in one or two days. in fact, you can encounter people’s temper in Armenia, especially when a person has some kind of status and can easily command you because of this “after all, that’s how it is done here.” Just as often, the police do not open criminal cases or put pressure on victims to close them. Money scams are common: do not change money to people on the street. Paying for a taxi in cash is also fraught with the risk that they will catch up with you and say that you gave a counterfeit bill that the taxi driver took out of his pocket.

Also the club atmosphere is amazing in Armenia but there is a catch...you cant get in a club without a girl...if your a man you gotta have a girl with you...even if its 5 guys and 4 girls one guy cant come...its becsuse "women of the night" are very rare in Armenia and usually if u find one they are russian or from some other country..the women are beyond beautiful.

I was born in LA and so was my father...but he moved to Armenia and married my mom and had my sister than came back to LA...i visited Armenia for the first time back in 2018 before the plandemic started...its beyond beautiful..ppl are hospitable...and yes in every neighborhood you will find children playing till 11pm with no adult supervision...thays just how it is...if you mess with someones kid you will be an outcast if not killed...so it just doesnt happen...plus Armenians are very into their children so safety is obviously #1...Armenia is great...friends over there are there for each other like ive never seen

As a female, Yerevan is one of the safest cities I’ve been too and felt comfortable walking by myself at night!

To "Richard". Give your full name then if you are not just a lier. Car robbing is practically IMPOSSIBLE in Yerevan. Don't be shy, maybe your 22 cars were robbed and you declare only 2. Lier!!

#Joyce I am so glad you liked here. Really it's unfortunate you cannot come during this time. However, if you have the chance to visit Armenia again, I would really like to meet you:))

So I have been visiting Armenia over the past 3 years in summer. I never had heard of the place (unfortunately) until I saw a group of Armenians around the House of Commons on 24th of April. I did a lot of research and fell in love with the culture of Armenia. It is very sad that due to the covid19 I am unable to travel this July. So then, safety wise it is very safe, far more safer than anywhere I have ever been before. People are lovely, very friendly and helpful. I approached a house to ask for directions, the family was having coffee, boy they didn't let me leave without having a cup of coffee :) and of course their wonderful fruits that you can smell from miles. I didn't like getting around in the mini buses (like in Turkey) but taxis are very cheap and abundant, for a few pounds sterling you can get anywhere. The museums are a must see. Matenadaran is amazing and I believe there is a virtual option available now.
If you visit for the first time, the first 2 weeks of july are great because one has to eat to know what apricot really tastes like and the mulberries. It truly is an open air museum like the locals say.
To sum up, great people, fantastic gastronomy, very very safe beautiful.

Must see _ TATEV, JERMUK, KHOR VIRAP, NORAVANK AND GARNY GEGHARTH.
Thank you Armenians for making me feel so welcome each time
