Don't listen to this person. This is a pretty great city. I can't say for sure it's always safe, but it is though. This city is getting more safer like Moscow. You can walk anytime in daytime. Often at night, you can walk too. It's just a great city without any scams like any other cities from different countries that are safe and friendly. Plus this city has some pretty great attractions as well. I would recommend visiting.

How come Numbeo says Tyumen is safe at daytime, yet the other sites say it's a dangerous place? I disagree what numbeo says about Crime in Tyumen. It's NOT very safe to walk around during day. It's actually a little safe to be in the daytime. At nighttime, Tyumen can be a very scary place. (Note this is a minor edit)
