I found Tangier very safe during the day, we did not get harrassed at all. We went to casa barata, a suburb with the biggest street market i have seen, 5000 people or more, we must have been the only foreigners there but only met friendly people. We dress in old jeans and tshirts and found the people very friendly. We never stayed out past 10pm but also at night we felt safe. We parked our camper always at a public parking, you will always find a guard there, we gave him a euro a day and he happily looked after the camper. We stayed 5 days in Tanger and will come back

No guns in Morocco, don't lie! Government will rip the eyes out of your sockets if they find you using a gun bc that means suspicion of terrorism and Moroccan government is really serious about that matter, the crime is high, but they use other kinds of weapons like knives, not fire weapons. The most disgusting thing about Morocco is the bribery and if you are a woman, the harassment and catcalling. Must improve to pair their economical development, the country is growing but not socially and neither in well being.
