I thought I'd pass by just to combat some of the crime misinformation spread by certain people in Rochester.

Murder rates per 100,000 in 2012:

1. Mexico City = 17
2. Detroit = 10
3. San Diego/Tijuana = 9
4. Philadelphia = 8
5. Chicago = 7
6. Houston = 6
7. Dallas = 5
8. Los Angeles = 5
9. Rochester = 4
10. New York = 4

Remember that Rochester is a city of around a million – *not* 200k. This is *very* important.

The murder rate is barely higher than that of New York.
