I agree with the comment by Pam, human trafficking is an extremely serious issue in Cambodia. Due to the rampant corruption in the Cambodian government, they continue to let exiled Chinese criminals run their large scale compounds on Cambodian soil. These scam operation makes up 30-40% of Cambodia’s GDP, with it gradually increasing in the recent years. Please travel with caution or avoid it entirely.

There's a lot of human trafficking going on here. Many girls were sold and raped. The local police received money from the local gangs, mostly gangsters are from China, so be careful when you visit there.
