mashhad is much safer than most of the cities in the world
safe as european cities
and there are no gang groups and etc in mashahad

Who said Mashhad is very safe? We are living in a good neighborhood and there is always worries of being mugged! If you hear motorcycle in alley's, you need to be worry about yourself in order to not being mugged. Everyone knows that inflation and sick economy causes the unsafety in Iran, Specially in big cities. If I wanted to rate the safety, that would be about 48% . I once mugged but ran away with it and my brother got mugged in front of our house ( remind you that in good neighborhood) and also police Station is so close to us! after being mugged, breaking in houses are rising. That's unusual and make it clear why safety is falling down. Stay in crowded place, watch your phone and when you want to use it, you need to hold it with your two hand. Don't walk alone and avoid motorcycles. The robbers always have knives . They are hungry for money. Just avoid quiet and not crowded places and other things that I mentioned.

very safe city with a lot of scenery around it, beautiful mountains, creaks and bazars, specially new shopping centres, plazas, indoor water parks and also great outskirt of the city with amazing food, also a lot of migrants from all corners of the country mostly from north, north west and and eastern side of Iran, who have brought their their culinary traditions to Mashhad and mixed them up with local.

I Travelled and leaved in several European and Asian countries and can say Mashhad is safer than a lo t of them, having said that, the impact of the economic issues in the country is obvious with higher unemployment specially since Covid pandemic which seems to be easing off and improving post December 2021
