Originally from Burnley but been living in Harlow for a couple of years.

Both poor towns but Harlow is much rougher in terms of crime, ASB etc. There's an edge to Harlow that Burnley doesn't really have, a feeling that things could turn unpleasant quickly and without warning. It can feel quite uncomfortable walking around.

Lived in Canterbury, Kent previously as well and enjoyed it. Lovely compared to Harlow but even then I'd say it's still worse than Burnley.
