Guwahati located in the banks of the mighty river Brahmaputra is the capital city of Assam and is a fast developing and a geographically beautiful place. This place dons natural beauty and is surrounded by mountains. Breathtaking sights is a trademark of this place. The city is connected to the Rest Of India by all means of transportation. Easy nice going way of life is the hallmark of the residents here. Varied people leads to diverse culture, cuisine, beliefs, practices. Though the problem has been the racist attitude of some local people towards people speaking different language. A few herd of people are hurting the diverse culture of this beautiful city. I hope people understand that India is not divided by states (Provinces) but is united by states (Provinces). India is a free and democratic country with our citizens permitted to live anywhere within India and the band of people who create chaos and disrupts peace must be severely punished by the law. The infrastructure needs improvement as this place stands as the hub of North eastern India. The administrators must look to preserve the integrity and increase safety measures of the people living here. Bureaucracy and Corruption are major hindrance's to uniform development in this part of the world. As guwahatians we ourselves must shoulder the responsibility of making the city healthy and wealthy. It's time now cheap politics, bureaucracy and corruption make way for prosperity and development.
