Its the same pattern over and over again , perfectly low crime rates made higher by immigrant young men . They should never have been brought in . I blame big corporations for this .

My son visited Copenhagen for the New Year 2016/17 unfortunately he was mugged and beaten for his Rolex watch by 3 men of African decent. He had 10 stitches to his face and head. This doesn't sound like a safe place to me? When he was in the hospital everyone in there had the same opinion of the City.

We have seen an increase in violent from muslim young men. Denmark is changing due to muslim migrants, unfortunately
#Ralle on Apr 27, 2016 :
With a murderrate lower than Japan, it's a pretty damn safe place..

I never feel at risk of anything, but I'm sure if a person starts harrasing young muslims or drunk Danes that they could get into a fight if that is their goal..

Last weekend one of the neighbour called cops using 112, with no result and action. Today ie sunday 13 sep i see one of the same boy again doing the same. this time i followed them and i met 2 cops whom i explained about them destroying neighbour property.they said call 112, i thought in my mind " oh thank u" which is of no use. and i came back home. looking forward for next sunday drama.

Mandrill. In murder dramas you mean the one guy that killed three people and then got shot? Afterwards there haven't been anything serious what are you talking about?
#Johnny on Jul 24, 2015 :
Well in any major citys you have to be aware of young muslim crowds, esp. at night time in ghettos and city center. (copenhagen /århus / Odense) They mug, steal and stab any with no reason. Resent statistics shows over 30% af all young muslim men between 18-24 have been in prison !! avoid at all cost !

Having just completed a visit to Denmark, I have to say that I felt extremely safe. There are biking and walking trails, all of which are well lit in case you happen to be on them at night. The people are friendly and polite. I was in Copenhagen as well as several other cities. I would also like to add that Copenhaen is a family friendly city. I saw many young families with babies and older children out and about. I saw young teens playing without fear on the public basketball courts. A very safe and open city.

There are losts of corruption and crime in Denmark. It is just as bad as any place else.
#N on Nov 28, 2014 :
Well i don't know what you are talking about when saying walking alone in the daytime is 100% safe because just recently i was mugged by a pack of teenagers just after walking out the door.
#Anonymous on Apr 22, 2014 :
This is so funny, Denmark is about the safest country to live in.
You shouldn't worry too much about being mugged - and being robbed or attacked is almost impossible.
I would say walking alone in daylight is 100 % safe and by night, well let's say 95 %.
The popular TV dramas is all fiction!
It would be a good idea to do some research and background check of the sources! People being so worried and scarred in Denmark as listed above don't come from Denmark that's for sure.
And about corruption: according to Tranparency International we are second to none!
#Mandrill on Apr 20, 2014 :
Safest place... but not according to the rise in Danish murder dramas, the killing etc etc. I'm scared to go now.
#Carsten on Jan 24, 2014 :
Lowest corruption rate in the world!
#Alexander on Jan 23, 2014 :
"We have no Corruption in Denmark" - what an extremely bold statement.
