Although yes The Bronx does have some safe areas much like other cities or even big cities in America but the crime there is all more about perception people really only travel to the safer areas to avoid threats unlike other cities though the more safer areas are more common visits the dangerous areas are more dangerous then quite a good amount of other dangerous big cities in the country although NYC is safe The Bronx and Harlem are said to be the most dangerous in the city the Bronx with a higher overall crime rate even violent crime is higher then some dangerous big and small cities in the country.

Avoid walking at night especially alone your chances of becoming the victim of a crime is insanely higher and it’s already highly dangerous in the daytime.

This place by far is the most dangerous borough in all of NYC and violent crimes such as Murder, Armed Robbery, Homicide etc, makes it one of the most dangerous cities in the US probably would put in top 15 or hell maybe even top 10.

I’ve been to the Bronx and crime is insanely high but the south side is a nightmare come to life.

The Bronx is the only borough that has crime upstick especially murders I was born in the Bronx but I was raised in North Carolina for practically my whole life and here you’ll be luck to here a gunshot every blue moon but I have family members that live in the Bronx and they say crime is still been upsticked since the 2000s
