As some one who has lived in ballarat my whole life i can say we went from a close knit country town where everyone knew everyone about 12 to 10 years ago to stealing, doing drugs, fighting or harrasing people for no reason was a good way to get yourself bashed. even going to prsion was a good way to get looked at as scum... but now we have kids and even grown adults so brain dead they have to steal lie, cheat and hurt others for money, instead of working... it's a good town thats run by fools

Hard to believe that it’s safer to walk in Melbourne than the country town I live be in. There it is ?! Should also include family violence ! Assault is what it is where ever it happens.
