I live and work in Amadora. It is a well known fact that fascist and neo-nazi organizations, headed by Chega party are manipulating crime statistics in Amadora trying to pass a connexion between migration and criminality. Considering its size and the multiple origins of their inhabitants, Amadora is a peaceful model community. There was a homicide two years ago, I recall in public view: it was a demented far-right idiot who attacked and killed a portuguese citizen of african descent. There's the crime for you.

Numbers are being manipulated by Portuguese xtrem right wing party Chega to create wipe on social networks.

Isto é um site onde qualquer um pode responder a um questionário para aumentar ou diminuir as taxas e dados.

Claro que o Chega e os bots Cheganos já andam aqui a pedir para inflacionar as estatísticas

Querem dados decentes, vão ao eurostat

Being against fascism and manipulation of data doesn't make me a "leftist extremist". There are lots of neonazis and fascists in Portugal though (see report on national security that the government tried to censor), with militias that are connected to the party CHEGA. The Polícia Judiciária are already after them. Manipulating data to lie on twitter is a typical method used by them.
Real Citizen of Portugal on Jul 07, 2025:
Leftist extremists like Lobo Alsácia are now pushing for the manipulation of crime statistics in Amadora. Despite these efforts, Amadora consistently ranks among the most unsafe cities in Portugal, with high rates of violent crime and robberies reported annually.
Lobo Alsácia on Jul 07, 2025:
Fascists from the Chega party from Portugal, led by Portuguese deputee Rui Paulo Sousa, are inflating the crime numbers on purpose so he can lie on twitter about it.

I advise all normal people to fill in the questionnaire and counter this false attack

Only passed through on the train, but definitely felt more on edge than the rest of Lisbon.
