My mother is leaving to travel to Accra Ghana. I am worried out my mind. She meet someone online and traveling to see him. If anyone can help me with information about this place only if you visited or been talking with someone from there. I'm running out of time and options.

Even though I like many other Ghanaians have been condemning and blaming our leaders and systems for the spate of corruption in Ghana, we do so by comparing Ghana to the developed countries like Japan, USA, Britain, Canada and other European countries. Comparatively and in all honesty the corruption and crime level in the Philippines is a little worst than the prevailing conditions in Ghana. The difference is that in Ghana, Ghanaians and the social media will blow and drum about everything on rooftops for the whole world to hear about any corrupt act or crime but in the Philippines, most of the Filipinos do not complain neither will they say or drum it to the hearing of the rest of the world.
For example, I never witnessed (saw with my eyes) a murder in my over 40 years stay in Ghana (though I heard so many reported cases on the air-waves, print media, and from people), I witnessed (saw with my incredible eyes) four (4) people shot and killed in brought day light with impunity in less than five years stay in the Philippines. One man shot a girlfriend and returned to that same house within 21 days after that gruesome murder and walks about freely because as per his assertion his family settled the family of the deceased and the police!!!
I have facts, figures and evidence to adduce to all the issues I write on and I can furnish you with them at the appropriate time if you request.
I have nothing against the Filipinos, and I have many Filipino friends who are very honest, candid and always speak/say the truth. I like the Philippines but that doesn’t mean that I must not write or say the reality/truth about Philippines.
One may ask/question me - if Ghana has the cheaper cost of living than Philippines, why then am I in the Philippines studying? The answer to the above question is that I was deceived, and misled by a scrupulous agent who put out falsehood on the internet that education, housing and cost of living in the Philippines is the cheapest in the world. Among other stories put out on the internet I was misled, deceived and made to pay agency fees of about US$900, and part of the tuition fees. I also took five (5) year leave from work and came down to the Philippines before I realized that all that they put on the internet was nothing more than blatant lies, fallacy, misleading and mischief. But it was too late for me to go back. That is one of the reasons I have taken the trouble and the pains to write to you to do the necessary corrections on your website to prevent other people from being further misled and deceived as well as to prevent others from becoming victims of such lies, and falsehood.
Mr Doo, I am by this letter challenging you to cite at least one city or house in Philippines, and another city or house in Ghana where the rent or the cost of living is said to be higher in Ghana than in the Philippines. Again, I have official receipts of my rent, utilities, etc that show that rent in the Philippines is over 700% higher than rent in Ghana, and the overall cost of living in the Philippines is about 300%higher in the Philippines than in Ghana.
Again, I am throwing a big challenge to you to show/cite me a city in the Philippines where I can get a five (5) bedroom apartment/house with 2 or 3 CRs, a living room, a kitchen room, a garage, and store room at the monthly rental of US$600(P27,600). I am also challenging you, either to let any of those who gathered the wrong information for you to contact me or you, yourself to contact me and I can get you a five (5) bed room apartment or self contain house with 2 or 3 CRs, a living room, a kitchen, a store room, a garage within 15 kilometers in or around Accra at the monthly rental of US$400(GHs1,520) or less. I can also rent out to you one of my personal apartments either a 2 bed room with 2 CRs, a kitchen, a living room, dining hall or a 3 bedroom with 2 CRs, a living room, a kitchen, dining hall, and a parking area in either case at the monthly rental of US$100 and US$140 respectively at Pokuase in Accra (the national capital of Ghana where Ghanaians and everybody knows that it is the most expensive city to live in Ghana).
Also, understand that all Ghanaians except those in government in Ghana and their families/supporters know that the Ghanaian economy is now in serious crises with the highest inflation ever recorded in close to 16 years. However, with what we call “the killer economic situation and crises” in Ghana – which has made almost all Ghanaians crying, wailing, gnashing our teeth and complaining so bitterly, rent is still over 700% far cheaper in Ghana than in the Philippines, and the cost of living over 400% far cheaper in Ghana than the prevailing situation in the Philippines which is being touted as having witnessed/chopped the best economic success under President Simeon Ninoy Aquino III.
