How can i get employed as a french-english translator and a student? I think getting a job in these fields is nearly impossible there. So, as an online earner, can i be able to live through out a month with 7.000 NOK?

I think that the average salary of 28000kr as written in the statistics above is rather correct. Lower paying jobs like working as a cashier at a supermarket may give you 20000 i think, but me and my partners are engineers and 29 years old, and we get 35000 (roughly 3500 €) each net. If you are the type that has impulsive spending and constantly goes out to restaurants and events, these salaries will not take you too far. Most of my colleagues that earn the same barely save anything. We on the other side, are quite frugal and regularly save 50% of our income.
So I think that all in all, even if salaries sound very high, your money will quickly run out considering how expensive everything is here. If you however are the saving type of person, you can accumulate a lot of money impressively quick!

I Agree with Florian,

We are a couple and only I am getting earnings 32.000 NOK /month and we can live happy. With not a lot of freetime spendings but its nice :)
