This is an outdoor's paradise. It is not an 'urban' centre but it is multicultural and there is a great university and college in this city. A beautiful newer hospital. The waterfront is spectacular. It would be a city for 'healthy' people with the ambition to appreciate what is good rather than focus on the issues that many cities face. Although it doesn't have the shopping luxuries most urban cities have, it is multi-cultural and housing is affordable! Many positives when one has the appropriate attitude. The negative population would be miserable wherever they live as many just have that tendency to see what is wrong than what is right.

I am not a strong advocate of living in Thunder Bay.prices are out of this world for food.city lacks infrastructure conducive to pleasant living.isolated so advantages of larger city and ammenities of southern Ontario are non existent.if you are a bush wacker and like to hunt and fish you are in the right spot. I’m gone when the opportunity prevails.makes me depressed
