BUT there is a very big misunderstanding, many foreign students think that because the salaries are 900 euro on numbeo, the rent and the supermarket will be cheap. NO. Prices and rents are central european.
Then how greeks live? Easy, the pensions are on average about 1000 (yes, pensions are more money than salaries), so parents are helping their kids. Plus, most greeks have their own flat or ever have another one and collect rent.
Average net monthly salary 895.03€ and that is the average I bet the median is even lower.
