I would say that most of these prices are a few years old.

The apartment prices are way off, even if they are based on 10 years outdated information. They appear to be based mostly on the per-bedroom rate of the four-bedroom college student apartment complexes. An inexpensive one-bedroom apartment typically cost around $500-750 per month as of 2013, not including utilities, with a few non-advertised exceptions around $450. The exceptions that I mention are cheaper than what the homeless assistance people have on their lists for non-HUD housing.
