Angeline on Feb 11, 2023:
Sudbury is not cheap living yet is remote from Southern Ontario. The avg 1 bedroom rent is higher than in cities like Kitchener, London. The airport is far far away from tne city with limited transportation.

I think some of the migrants could be settled in Sudbury and Sault Ste Marie to raise the populations instead of piling everyone into the GTA corridor.

The new free healthcare programs will be an attraction, again needs advertising more broadly.

Sudbury is a great city with lots of social services and a very diversified and respectful society. Being in Australia since February because of Covid I would like that our municipal government look at some facts. Our community has not grown in population for the last 30 years. How many schools have closed. Canada’s population has increased by over 15 million in the last years. The French population is leaving for bigger centres because:entertainment, social activities and services. Je suis un ancien directeur d’école secondaire dans la région de Sudbury
