Hi, I stay in Santiago three months per year for the last three years and I would say that these prices are not average but extremely high estimates. I don’t have children so I cannot attest to prices in that category, but as far as clothing, food, transportation, and housing (both purchasing and rentals) expenses are far higher than that of which I’ve expri need or have seen in my limited time spent in Santiago. And just as a reference the consecutive years start in 2015 and I am returning in March of 2018 and if all goes as planned I will be moving in 2019.
