Very helpful info thanks a lot, I just want to know if English can be used in communicating with locals and if there's any restrictions by the government on the hours you can work. Thanks, I love your site

Very helpful info. thank you, but I would like it extended to cover more items likely to be purchased on holiday, including:
-ice cream from street vendor
- apfelstrudel from a cafe
-liqueur drinks from a bar/hotel
-postcards
-english newspaper
- expected % tips in restaurant
- ditto for hotels
