I am comparatively new in Port of Spain but I can say that at least two things in your list are not true: Rents in Port of Spain is a lot higher. One bedroom apartment is not 3.900 TTD, it is 1,300-1,500 USD which is 8,000-10,000 TTD. The term "City center" might be misleading. It is not possible to live at the city center for foreigners (I assume you prepare this data for foreigners) due to security reasons. For neighborhoods where foreigners live the real figure is 3 times of what is stated in your site. Second thing is international school fees. I just paid for my son 25,000 USD for one year. 6,000 USD is for the building fund which is basicly an entrance fee. The school fee is 19 plus thousand for a year.
