From 2021 There are some cheaper prices as the listed ones in CDMX such as: not regular fórmula milk (social aid) $22 MXN x 2 liters or the cheapest trusted brand $15 MXN per liter, public transport (bus) $2 MXN, social diner $11 MXN per meal or informal streed food cheap as $15 x 5 basket tacos or from $45 MXN a complete clean meal (soup, pasta, main meal, drink and dessert bread or tortilla) on an average mexican diner, the most used by any level workers... however this list may not be the target audience for the frugal or poorest i´m just adding another facts.

It would be helpful if you listed prices in USD as well.

There are many other countries or cities where you can also find cheaper prices, but not with great weather and sooooo many different posibilities to amuse as Mexico City... for any budget there's a choice

# PRISCILA the majority of people who post numbers here have never lived here as I do.$850 to $1,500 per month efficiency apartment good area,$600 to $750usd bad area. One bedroom apartment $1,600 to $4,000 good area,$900 to $1,500 USD bad area.Numbeo is depending upon contributors for accurate costs but few people give any.The only thing that's cheap in Mexico City is buying fruits and vegetables at open markets.

The rent costs are waaaaaay higher than 3 or 4 thousand pesos! A nice furnished 2 bedroom in Coyoacán is about 20.000 mxn! I was comparing Mexico to Thailand... The numbers are just wrong! Crowd source data depends on the person... Very subjective
