Having said that, the median number is not bad.
The 4800 avg wage has been corrected for inflation, it's more like 5200 euro/mth now.
And that is netto, as taxes in Luxembourg are quite low.

The prices mentioned on this site about Luxembourg are correct, except for avg monthly salary, which is more around 4800 EUR.
Quality of life is superb here, just like the southwest of Germany and west of the Netherlands where we also lived.
I currently live in Spain and I am thinking of relocating to Luxembourg. I studied business administration. I’m from Nigeria but I am a Spanish citizen. I would like to know if is easy to get a job of my field and how much is the pay just an estimate would be fine.

i didn't consider the cost of a private school. In Luxembourg City there are english based public schools with no tuition fees.
3500 x 0.75 (there are tax benefits for children and non working partner, it might be underestimated)= 2625
-1500 for an apartment (including utilities): 1125
-800 for groceries and related items (in Germany)= 325
-200 for other general expenses= 125 (disposable income)"....
How...if school for one child is 1.260 eur?
The monthly income is around 4.500€ and I want to know if this can be ok for 4 people. We plane to rent an apartment with 2 bedroomsmy wife speak German, could be easy to find something?
