I like Lodz. Food is super cheap, especially if you eat plant-based like me. I can literally buy anything I want, whenever I want, because I ALWAYS have money for it. Buying in bulk is even better. Cheapest food ever. I find it hard to believe homeless people can't afford to eat at least one meal a day.

Bread is sensational.
There are plenty of small, individual businesses with great produce and products. Unfortunately, Poland is letting major corporations take over their country and all small businesses are starting to shut down. Remember Poland, having individual, local businesses is a huge strength that you cannot afford to lose.

People are overall friendly. I have met a few racists, but most of them don't really act out on it. People of Lodz are also pretty reserved, I would like to see more smiles in the future.

Rent is fairly priced and affordable. Public transport is super cheap. Winter heating pretty expensive, unless you have your own fireplace and burn wood.

Internet is majorly fast and affordable. I'm loving it.
I like the fact that you can buy clothes from small local shops in fair prices, instead of buying from mainstream stores like H&M, ZARA, etc.

I like "Rynek". Cheap stuff, clothing and LOCAL FOOD, vegetables, fruits, all in season and hand picked, AMAZING.

A lot of stray animals on the streets, and that's a shame, more people should be spaying their dogs and cats to erase the problem.

Architecture is very beautiful. Nature is even better. Poland has a fresh, nature/winter smell that I really love.

Roads are a pain in the ass but what can you expect from such cold winters and a shit, corrupted government.

I'm giving a huge thumbs up to Lodz.
