The average price for rent is 1500 euro in the city center and cost of living without rent is 800 euro. Average salary is 1600 euro and minimum wage is 900 euro. Sounds like bad math.

Limassol is becoming more expensive day to day, specially the rent, if you are lucky to find one, it start from 800 euro.
My advice is to find house outside of the city and go to local Bazars for your grocery where Vegtaiare really cheap compare to big stores.

A family of 4 will need about 2000 euro to have decent life.
800 rent
250 Petrol
600 Food
300 electric, water, internet, and other utility.

A trip to macdonald for a family of 4 will cost 40 euro.

Prices are becoming very high and things more and more expensive. Rent is a killer. One bedroom old apartment of 20 years old at least 800 euros... new ones 1500+

My electric bill averages 200 euro monthly. It averaged 100 euro in Munich monthly. We understood things would be more expensive since Cyprus is an island. But Cyprus has an elaborate hydro electric system that does make electric much less expensive but the government doesn't charge any less.
