Esenyurt is not a city. It is only district of istanbul.

Esenyurt is not a city, it's a lesser administrative unit that's inside the borders and under the management of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. So the information you see for Istanbul also applies for Esenyurt, and generally Esenyurt can be considered as 'outside of city centre' altough not by distance for some people, but by level of developement.
