Hi
We are in the process of immigrating from The Eastern Cape South Africa to El Paso Texas.
How much should your salary be for a family of 5 per month?

Thank you

Yeah I live in El Paso will continue to do so for a very long time cost of living in low. My pay is out growing the cost of living here. Like anywhere you live budget and budget. You can live off of 40k to 300k easily here with are without a family. It will be tight on 40k with a family without a family not so much the same can be said for 50k a year earners. I bought a house back in 2004 built from the ground up making only 36k a year. Now I am just over 60k a year. Still in my house love the community. Parks and new small hospital across the street from my community is being built and a nursing home facility as well. Also other businesses are being built. Someone say property appreciation and a possible bump up on in taxes but I am ok with that. The weather here is great compare to other areas I lived. Blistering hot summers and mild sometimes cold winters. Lot of wind during the change of seasons. The change of seasons are not as pronounced as other areas of the country. No water folks but that is fine with me. Love the North East side of town was neglected at one time but starting to see a renaissance.
