To add to the discussion: as a matter of facts, in the USA as a skilled migrant they’ll issue a H1-B visa (for sure if you’re for a developing country); please google about “h1b visa modern slavery”.
Life is also a matter of freedom, not only money

Hey Ryan, I live in Germany and find the people very friendly. I was in the USA for a month and found a lot of the people there very unfriendly and of course there was the fear of being robbed or shot the whole time. In Germany they have a second to none health program which is fair for everyone, not really what I heard about the USA from most of the people I spoke to. And then of course you guys voted for final trump to be your president. I am so glad I didn’t have dollar signs in my eyes when looking for a career and settled with a country full of beauty, design art and culture.

The average salary for software developers in Germany is about 50000€... If you work for Google in San Jose as a senior software developer, your salary will be about 350000$ incl. bonuses (7 times more) and you don't need to learn another complicated language. People are also much nicer in the united states comparing to Germany. I see no reasons to live here. The country is absolutely overrated.
