The average salary for software developers in Germany is about 50000€... If you work for Google in San Jose as a senior software developer, your salary will be about 350000$ incl. bonuses (7 times more) and you don't need to learn another complicated language. People are also much nicer in the united states comparing to Germany. I see no reasons to live here. The country is absolutely overrated.
