The comments above mine about the school - cost relation is quite helpful. Thanks a lot for time to write here; it is the most important information for the ones who have children.

Hi,

nice website you have, also prices are about right, except for schools.
You only have "International Primary School, Yearly for 1 Child" in your living cost.
But about 99% of the Belgian children go to public school or school organised by religious (mostly christian) organisation.
Both quality is about equal and very high.
The maximum aloud cost (by law) is 90 euro per year, all included (litteraly all included) for childeren between 6 and 12 years old.
for children between 12 and 18 years old it is a bit more.
And you can enter a university for about 950 euro a year when you don't have a scolarship (that is without books and stuff)
So i think you make it look like Belgium is expensive for education, but in fact it is very cheap.

You price for preschool is also too high by the way, that's the price for private, non funded, day care, used for children below 3years old. Low incomes pay less. From 3years on they can go to kindergarden at school, wich is in the same school system as the older children, and cost are about the same as in primary school.

So maybe you can add a few lines for precision

Thanks,
