As they mentioned prices are not fixed. Local sellers mostly overprice for foreigners whenever they can so better check websites from jiji.ng and negotiate. Please don’t feel bad with my comments because when i started knowing prices by jiji.ng i am fine in abuja

Rent figures are highly inaccurate and makes comparison impossible.

Rent in Nigeria is usually paid annually so the crowdsourced figures are annual rent rates not monthly. We're used to the annual payments but it's still worrying that we can't read the word 'monthly' and divide by 12.

It appears to be more expensive to rent in Abuja than in London! Or the average income is way lower than the average monthly rental figure in Abuja.

Hopefully the site owners can correct this and instead collect annual rates for the country and convert to monthly to display and compare on the site.

Please note the housing cost is exaggerated and mostly inaccurate.

Rent in Abuja is paid yearly and what numbeo put as monthly is usually what is paid yearly.
