Rent figures are highly inaccurate and makes comparison impossible.

Rent in Nigeria is usually paid annually so the crowdsourced figures are annual rent rates not monthly. We're used to the annual payments but it's still worrying that we can't read the word 'monthly' and divide by 12.

It appears to be more expensive to rent in Abuja than in London! Or the average income is way lower than the average monthly rental figure in Abuja.

Hopefully the site owners can correct this and instead collect annual rates for the country and convert to monthly to display and compare on the site.

Please note the housing cost is exaggerated and mostly inaccurate.

Rent in Abuja is paid yearly and what numbeo put as monthly is usually what is paid yearly.

Lagos and Kano are not covered. The cost of living there would be interesting to businessmen and students. There is no standard price control in Nigeria. So, good bargain for most commodities is possible.

I do not know where you got this from?? I can definitely say that it isn't true for myself. The housing is within range but every other thing is ridiculously exaggerated or reduced. Nigeria don't have a fixed market price for most things. One can definitely get a good bargain.
