Looking for advise: I'm a middle-aged single mother of two, a RN, BSN with experience in variety of nursing fields, lived in central Arizona 40 years , wanting to have a fresh start away from the heat, looking to relocate to Washington State, where is the best city or community in Washington to raise my children in a good neighborhood that I can afford working as a nurse in hospital or Dr office?

Vancouver, WA is great for prices and living. Portland is 20 min drive. Seattle a few hours. Great for retirement or raising a family.
#Jeffrey Pearl on Mar 04, 2014 :
I think Seattle is the most beautiful city lit at night.

depends on where you'll be working. seattle is the center of the Puget sound and pretty much accessible from anywhere. Bremerton is across the water and to get to Seattle you either need to take an hour long ferry ride or drive around the Puget Sound through Tacoma which could take up to 2 hours to get to Seattle... if you don't have a specific reason to live out on the peninsula, you're probably better off on the Seattle side...
