How much income is needed to live in San deigo.

You'd have to live in one of the outer suburbs and things will be tight, but its doable. A roommate would give you a lot more breathing room.

MAYBE, but that is only if you are sharing housing costs with someone. I have barely made it with 40k for years while single, so if you had a roomie you could make it though not in luxoury.
