If you want the good life in Pakistan that is comprable to US/Canada, you need to make atleast 3.5 to 5 lakhs rupees per month. Most do not. But even if you do, you must take into account stability factor and security situation. Really depends on what you want out of life.

Of course we have the best jobs and the highest salary so therefore can afford luxuries. On top of which we bring pound sterling with us and get a lot more rupees for our money.. Even my servant and her family live a luxury lifestyle and have their own car!!

Er excuse me Babar but where did you get your statistics from? I live in the uk and own 4 homes in lahore. Cost of food and living are extremely high in Pakistan in comparison to the UK. With so much corruption and no law and order how can Pakistan be the best place in the world?? Is that why so many people are fleeing to the UK?
#Babar Bajwa on Nov 03, 2012 :
still food prices nd cost of living in pakistan is much cheaper than America,Canada and other European Countries.one and only bad thing is limited job opportunities.
otherwise Pakistan is the best place to live happily in the whole world.
#Tahir Rana on Dec 26, 2010 :
The government has recently stated that a 2 per cent increase will be implemented on electricity bills. So far local people are feeling the pinch but if you are bring money from abroad it has no real affect as the pkr is constanly being devalued. Private education has to be one of the main factors of being in lahore, cheap and cost effective!
#tahir rana on Dec 07, 2010 :
Electricity has gone up over the past two years since 2009 -2011 also 2nd hand cars are very expensive. Security risks are hig if you are not living in the bigger cities. gated housing areas are becoming the norm!
