Hi Abhishek,

The pay you are offered is good enough. This is the best you can get in IT with 6 year experience, I have been working with infy, wipro, tcs people here, they are offered 7k to 8k.

For a couple, if rented space is not costly, couple can live easily with 2000 to 2500 ( max ) rest is your savings.

Ali - I dont know if there is apartment that allow owner to have pet such as dog or cat...i think landed house is more suitable for ur case...sometime the cost to rent a apartment is just equal to the rent for landed house..

rasoul - here in KL, there are a lot of arabian restaurant...also we do have arabian street somewhere in Bukit bintang...maybe u could get an information from those traders..

skippy - dont worry...majority of companies in KL prefer employees to use english as medium of communication...in fact..locals also have no problem with english..

ravi - average malaysian salary is 3,000 and they still can afford to live in KL..so with 8,500 (this is manager-level salary)...i dont think u wil hv problem here..:) but u got to save some.
#Ali on Mar 25, 2013 :
