I don't know how you calculated the ratio, but it is just not reasonable to use a standard living space area for every city in the calculation. As long as I know, the average living space in Hong Kong is 161 square feet per person, while that for a New Yorker is 531 feet. Generally, I would suggest you to use different standard for different cities.

Hello, the rule of market for the house price is half month salary of national basic wages for square meter, at the maximum charge for the smallest size, going down with price together growing of capital to pay in all property. EXAMPLE: If the national wager is 10 yuan per hours and the national hours are 40 the salary will be 1600 yuan per month of work, so divide 2 will be 700 yuan at meter square for one apartment of 35 square meter for a total of 24,500 yuan for buy all property without devaluation, if the property to buy is the size of 150 square meter the total amount for the previous price for meter square became too much heavy to pay than step by step the price per meter square decrease from 700 to 650-580-500-430-350-until arrive at minimum of 210, so down the last price became affordable build ours own building or house for the price of meter square comprehensive of work at 35 yuan per square meter. so to finish the price of previous apartment of 150 square meter you will pay in full from 62,000 yuan till 66,000 yuan for the full property. What would be the price of a one room apartment near Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, i.e., around Clear Water Bay Peninsula? Or if there is any cheaper option to live just with basic facilities with my family, please mention it as well.
