"3 out 5 comments" way too less to judge a whole city
"are openly racist" they contain sentiments against Muslims, which is discrimination on a cultural/religious base, which is not racism.
This kind of discrimination of Muslims may also be bad, but is somewhat understandable given how the Muslim world is perceived today. The brutality they treat their own people (especially women) with, for things that are the most human rights in Europe, makes many people fear, and rage against, Muslims in Europe, not just Dresden.
Liberal parties in Dresden are absolutely different from the AfD when it comes to racism. Sorry, that statement of yours is totally baseless.
BTW, I live in Dresden.
They ALL wanted to leave. They ALL were scared to leave the house at night.
Why?
Because each of them were shouted at, spit at, threatened and physically attacked on a regular basis, because of the color of their skin. At the last election (Bundestagswahl 2021) one out of 5 voters voted for a far right, even fascist party. And that's considering that the "conservative" and "liberal" parties in Dresden are hardly different from "Alternative für Deutschland" when it comes to racism.
